ARE YOU OUR NEW HR ADVISOR?

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR professional to join Norwegian Sweden. 

As HR Advisor, you will work closely with our HR Manager and Base Managers in Sweden to advise and support in HR related issues and administrative tasks.

You will report to HR Manager Sweden.

This role is offered on a fixed-term contract to provide maternity leave cover. – Start: as soon as possible but with flexibility to accommodate notice periods.

The position is a fixed-term contract until the end of February 2028 – with potential for extension

You will be responsible for
•    Delivering efficient HR administration
•    Supporting the HR Manager and Base Managers in HR related and administrative matters, including preparation and follow-up on employment contracts and addendums, of sickness absence follow-up, and disciplinary grievance cases.
•    Being a Go-to person for employee enquiries on general topics and provide support where appropriate
•    Preparing and review of legal documents, contracts, handbooks, and internal guidelines to ensure accuracy and compliance. Ensuring compliance with national regulations related to employment.
•    Assist in employment relations matters such as dispute resolution, disciplinary or dismissal cases, etc.
•    Efficiently manage the day-to day transactional HR activities to ensure reliable information
•    Maintaining and secure accuracy in HR Master data and employee records in our HRMS system (SAP Success Factors) e.g. new hires, changes, terminations, resignations, etc.
•    Actively participate in and drive the continuous improvement culture; to identify and eliminate barriers to accuracy, productivity, and quality, especially related to HR Processes
•    Support Base Manager and Crew Management with administrative ad-hoc tasks 

 

This job will be for you, if
•    You have several years' experience in HR administration and HR generalist role in a high spaced work environment, preferably in an international organization – experience in aviation will be considered an asset
•    You have working knowledge of relevant labour laws, union agreements, and working practices
•    You have Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and the ability to quickly adapt to new technical systems and solutions. Experience with SAP SuccessFactors is considered an asset.
•    You are fluent in verbal and written Swedish and English – good communication skills in one or more of the Scandinavian languages, will be considered an asset
•    Thrives in a complex and demanding work environment, effectively managing multiple priorities and stakeholders. 

 

Employment in this position is subject to obtaining and maintaining the necessary airport security clearance. Successful candidates must pass the required background checks in accordance with applicable aviation security regulations before employment can commence.

Our Story


The Norwegian story began almost three decades ago - we were founded in 1993 but only began operating as a low-cost carrier with Boeing 737 aircraft in 2002. Our core values have remained the same since the beginning – to offer affordable fares for all and to allow customers to travel the smart way by offering value and choice throughout their journey.

The Norwegian brand expanded across the globe as the airline launched short haul services across Europe and then entered the long-haul sector serving the US, Asia and South America. In 2018 the company changed course to focus on core destinations and the right sizing of the airline in response to customer demand and global industry trends.

The rapid global spread of COVID-19 throughout 2020 and into 2021 accelerated this process and in January 2021 the company announced a simplified business structure and a dedicated short haul only network concentrating on a broad range of domestic routes in Norway, across the Nordics and to key European destinations.
