Are you our new Crew Support Specialist?

 

 As a Crew Support Specialist, reporting directly to the Team Leader - Admin Support, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accurate and timely handling of administrative support activities for our crew. Your day will involve managing various crew-related services in a structured, reliable, and service-minded manner, acting as a key point of coordination for requests, claims, and other essential matters that affect the daily operations and welfare of our crew.

 

 

In this role you will be responsible for:

 

  • Ensuring the daily administration and coordination of Concur claims handling, including follow-up on submitted claims and required documentation.

  • Managing and coordinating parking-related support, commuter tickets, and observer tickets for our crew.

  • Providing administrative support for crew meals and the coordination of uniforms and accessories.

  • Responding to crew enquiries related to claims, tickets, meals, and uniforms in a timely and professional manner.

  • Investigating reported issues and addressing them with the relevant personnel, department, or supplier.

  • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring all tasks are handled in accordance with company procedures.

  • Collaborating with relevant departments and external providers to ensure smooth delivery of crew support services.

  • Identifying recurring issues or improvement opportunities and raising them to the Team Leader.

 

 

You are our ideal candidate if:

 

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Administration, HR, or a related field (equivalent experience will also be considered).

  • You possess strong administrative and organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.

  • You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a service-minded attitude.

  • You are digitally proficient with an interest in working with various systems and tools.

  • You are a proactive problem-solver, able to investigate and resolve issues effectively.

  • You are fluent in English (written and verbal).

The Norwegian story began almost three decades ago - we were founded in 1993 but only began operating as a low-cost carrier with Boeing 737 aircraft in 2002. The Norwegian brand expanded across the globe as the airline launched short haul services across Europe and then entered the long-haul sector serving the US, Asia and South America. The rapid global spread of COVID-19 throughout 2020 and into 2021 accelerated this process and in January 2021 the company announced a simplified business structure and a dedicated short haul only network concentrating on a broad range of domestic routes in Norway, across the Nordics and to key European destinations.
