As our new SVP Technical Operations, you will lead our technical division from our headquarters at Fornebu. You will be responsible for driving safe, compliant, and highly efficient operations with a strong sense of business acumen. In this role you will be responsible for:

Operational Excellence & Safety: Directing the safe and efficient management of all aspects of the company’s technical operations. Fostering a high level of productivity to ensure robust, on-time performance (OTP).

Strategic Leadership: Defining, executing, and monitoring short- and long-term strategies and KPIs for Technical Operations, aligning them with company-wide goals.

Collaboration & Cross-Functional Teamwork: Building and maintaining strong working relationships across other business functions, such as Airline Network, to optimize fleet utilization.

Team Development: Coaching, mentoring, and leading Level 3 personnel. Setting specific, measurable goals, conducting regular 1-to-1s, and nurturing top talent in partnership with flying schools, universities, and trade schools.

Systems & Digitalization: Maintaining oversight and control of crucial IT systems related to Technical Operations (such as AMOS and Aviatar), while driving innovation and digitalization.

Regulatory Compliance: Maintaining excellent relations with EASA and National Aviation Authorities, ensuring compliance as the Nominated Person CAMO (NPCA) as outlined in CAME.

Financial Stewardship: Exercising strict cost control and managing large-scale project budgets effectively within your department.
You are our ideal candidate if:

You hold an MSc, BSc, or postgraduate degree in Management, Aeronautical Engineering, or equivalent, with documented leadership training.

You possess a minimum of 5+ years of experience in a senior Technical Management role within the aviation industry, with a proven track record of delivering complex initiatives.

You meet the regulatory requirements of EU 1321/2014, PART-CAMO.A.305, and can be successfully accepted by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) as a Nominated Person CAMO (NPCA).

You have a deep understanding of civil aviation regulations (EASA, ICAO, IATA) and a process-oriented, analytical mindset.

You have a proven track record of coaching and mentoring a large, remote workforce to enhance capability and succession.

You have strong financial acumen, with experience in managing substantial budgets and driving lean process optimization.

You are a stellar communicator with excellent stakeholder management skills, capable of building trust and driving change.

You possess an excellent command of English (both written and oral).
