At Norwegian, safety is at the heart of everything we do. We are now looking for a Flight Operations Engineer to join our Flight Support Department. In this role, you will help ensure that our flight operations are conducted safely, efficiently and in full compliance with regulatory requirements.
Working closely with internal stakeholders, authorities, aircraft manufacturers and external partners, you will maintain operational documentation, support fleet activities and contribute to the continuous development of our operation.
What you'll do
- Maintain and distribute operational manuals, checklists and aircraft documentation in accordance with regulatory and company requirements.
- Prepare and submit regulatory reports, authority applications, and revisions to the Minimum Equipment List (MEL) and Configuration Deviation List (CDL).
- Maintain aircraft operational data, including EFB information, weight data and Aircraft Briefing Cards.
- Support fleet activities related to aircraft entering and leaving the fleet.
- Update Operations Manuals and company procedures within your area of responsibility.
- Assist Technical and Chief Pilots with type-related operational matters
- Respond to occurrence reports and participate in projects and improvement initiatives within Flight Support.
Who you are
- You hold a university degree in aeronautical, aerospace or computer engineering, or a commercial or military pilot licence.
- You have at least three years of experience from Flight Support, Flight Operations or a similar aviation environment.
- You have solid knowledge of ICAO, EASA and FAA regulations.
- You are analytical, structured and detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritise and deliver to deadlines.
- You enjoy collaborating across functions and building strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- You communicate effectively in English and at least one Scandinavian language, both written and spoken.
