Are you our new Crew Sales Performance Manager? (Internal Opportunity - Temporary)
As a Crew Sales Performance Manager, you will drive crew engagement and sales performance management within onboard sales, allowing us to set the right inflight sales targets, measure performance, and implement solutions to maximize onboard sales growth at Norwegian.
You’ll join the Inflight Retail team, which is part of Product & Customer Experience within the Commercial unit. In this role, you will influence the onboard shopping experience, drive crew sales engagement, and contribute to the commercial success of our flights. You'll focus on building a strong sales and service culture among our cabin crew, working closely with internal stakeholders as well as our retail partner, Gate Retail, to launch and run onboard sales campaigns.
A key part of your job is to support our cabin crew with performance updates, and share best sales practices. By keeping our cabin crew motivated, celebrating successes, and sharing practical tips, you will help them hit their targets. Since this is a temporary replacement, you will step straight into an active role, managing and improving how we track and drive onboard sales performance.
The role is based at our head office at Fornebu, at the commercial heart of Norwegian.

In this role you will be responsible for:
RUNNING THE ONBOARD SALES PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT AND CREW ENGAGEMENT
- Build relationships and communicate the sales targets to our cabin crew and other relevant stakeholders
- Follow the actual sales performance, analyse gaps, and suggest actions for improvement
- Monitor and communicate the Sales Performance updates to cabin crew and crew management
- Track and drive the engagement metrics that support the sales performance
- Provide leadership and direction to achieve the inflight growth and transformation agenda
- Identify further opportunities to drive sales engagement and build engagement plans
- Support the cabin crew by sharing the best sales strategies and tactics
- Initiate the required sales skill training for cabin crew
- Visit crew bases to maintain collaboration and Inflight Retail visibility
You are our ideal candidate if you have:
- Excellent collaborative skills with the ability to negotiate, lead, and incorporate diverse perspectives.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to pursue your own initiatives and introduce fresh, creative ideas.
- Strong analytical skills with a strong understanding of Excel to track the sales data.
- Excellent PowerPoint skills with the capability to translate and communicate set targets and performance to varied audiences.
- Outstanding communication skills across different organizational levels, with a proven ability to influence decisions.
- A hands-on approach and enthusiasm for collaborating directly with cabin crew.
- A self-driven attitude, a positive mindset, and a genuine interest in the aviation sector.
- A structured way of working with the ability to prioritize effectively under time pressure.
- Fluent English (Scandinavian language is a plus).
