The Production Manager will organize and oversee the maintenance performed at our locations in Scandinavia. Production Manager will be responsible for the safe and effective running of all productionlines, including the quality of aircraft availability, cost control, and HSE.

Our Production department consists of over 300 employees, mainly aircraft mechanics and aircraft licence engineers. As Manager, you will lead and develop the production department of highly skilled people. It’s important to review, take initiative and develop improvement areas together with the team.

As manager, you are accountable for the KPI performance and department financial budget and report to the Maintenance Director. We are looking for a manager who wants to develop others by utilising their own experience.

In this role you will be responsible for:

Staff liability for the Production department, defining and following up on goals, developing inspiring team members.

Maintain a close working relationship with other departments and external suppliers.

Providing continuous support, product and process knowledge to the business as required.

Developing appropriate KPI’s, management reports and monitoring progress against agreed objectives.

Drive continuous improvement together with other departments

Contribute to financial reporting and budget follow-up.

Monitoring the section's routines and suggest changes to maintain the section in a cost-effective manner.

Overseeing production through daily co-ordination of maintenance activities

Ensuring that the maintenance stations have adequate resources to perform the required scope of work.

Responsible for establishing and maintaining procedures and routines to perform the department’s scope of work.

Ensure aircraft maintenance is completed and documented (aircraft records) in accordance with internal procedures and the applicable EASA and national requirements.

We hope you recognize yourself in the following qualifications and traits:

• Bachelor or Master`s degree (courses) in relevant area, preferably within administration or management. Alternative and relevant experience may compensate for lack of education.
• Good communication skills both oral and written in English
• Ability to delegate and have the oversight of multiple projects
• Technical know-how and analytical capability
• Experience with developing and maintaining department systems, operating costs, and project management.
• Must be able to work independently as well as in team
• Passion for maintenance excellence and willingness to lead the team towards the overall Mission statement for Technical Operations.
• A strong ownership along with desire to achieve sustained performance and results.
