Are you our new Technical Writer?

 

Come join our Technical Operations department where your daily task will be to perform amendments to Technical Manuals according to EASA regulation

and other applicable regulations, and any other documents relevant to the Technical Department, to meet regulatory and organizational standards

You will also produce user-friendly content that meets the needs of the target audience, turning insights language that sets our users up for success

Cooperation with the Company’s Head of Documentation is of great importance to maintain a detailed and organized database of appropriate reference materials.

The role reports to Director Planning.

 

 

You will be responsible for

 

  • On behalf of the SVP Technical Operations monitor and document regulatory changes in EASA Rules and Regulations
  • Monitor and update the Maintenance Management System (AMOS) with Service Bulletins, Airworthiness Directives, Component Maintenance Manuals, and other relevant documentation from OEMs
  • Research, outline and edit new and existing content, working closely with various departments within Technical Operations to understand project requirements
  • Review technical content for readability, clarity, consistency, completeness, accuracy, tone, organization, usability, and visual design
  • Independently coordinate and consult with subject matter experts to fulfil requests regarding the composition and development of a variety of written responses
  • Must be detail-oriented and can work proactively and effectively with minimal supervision
  • Work with development and support the Head of Documentation to improve documentation archives online libraries.
  • Manage accesses to relevant portals for internal personnel in Technical Operations

 

 

You are our ideal candidate if you have

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant technical field or other relevant background
  • Proven ability to quickly learn and understand complex topics
  • Previous experience of at least 2 years, writing documentation (Technical English) and procedural materials for multiple audiences (Engineering & Planning personnel, Mechanics, and Technicians)
  • Demonstrated strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Experience working with Technical Organizations to improve user experience: Create visuals and diagrams for technical support content

 

 

Preferred Qualifications

 

  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a flexible, fast paced and challenging environment
  • Previous software development experience
  • Experience using Microsoft Office package and XML tools to create documentation
  • Create electronic documents using word processing and desktop publishing tools
  • Experience in DocuNet authoring
  • Experience and knowledge with Simplified Technical English (STE)
