Leveraging the vast volumes of traffic to our own digital channels and the corresponding customer data, in both our own and paid channels to drive conversion rates and profitability, is core to our success. Digital Innovation is responsible for converting traffic to sales in our digital channels and works closely with both commercial and technology units within the company. We strongly believe in customer-oriented processes and aim to optimize on relevance in every customer interaction to reach our goals.

 

We are now expanding our Digital Innovation team with a Web Analyst who will work closely with our Product Owners to identify areas of improvement and measure effects of changes and experiments in our booking flow on web and in our app. The Web Analyst’s primary mission is to feed the organization with data-driven and actionable insights, based on quantitative analysis of visitor behavior in our direct digital channels. The Web Analyst will also be a central resource in the implementation, experimentation and measurements of new omni-channel capabilities across Norwegian’s own and paid channels.


Tasks:

 

Including but not limited to
•    Responsible for collecting the right datapoints with high quality through Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, complemented with data from other internal systems when needed.
•    Setup measurements to monitor key KPIs and drive business improvement
•    Collaborate closely with Product Owners and key IT developers to provide and communicate actionable insights
•    Ensure insights are based on high-quality data
•    Compliance with Privacy and Security regulations on data collected through Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
•    Support implementation of Personalization initiatives
•    Proactively identify business opportunities and improvement areas, contribute with quantitative insights to guide prioritization
•    Support, share and coordinate with other analysts, e.g. from Marketing

 

Qualifications: 

 

•    Business-oriented and result-driven mindset
•    A master’s degree within Analytics, Mathematics, IT, alternatively a bachelor’s degree with relevant experience
•    Experienced in the use of Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
•    Previous experience from, or interest in, managing a complex Google Analytics account with multiple internal stakeholders
•    Ability to setup and perform custom analysis on large and complex datasets, e.g. in BigQuery or similar environments
•    Knowledge of tools such as PowerBI, Looker, Tableau
•    Ability to identify and communicate actionable insights and recommendations based on data, creating real impact and business value

•    Solid communication skills in English – both written and oral. Mastering Norwegian is also an advantage.
