You will be a part of our HR Advisory Team. As HR Advisor, you will advise and support in local HR related challenges and administrative tasks linked to ground handling employees based in Spain.


In this role you are responsible for the delivery of accurate and timely human resource management advice and consultancy services to managers and staff. You will drive improvement projects within the Labour Administration area, and ensure efficient and effective core HR administration and management in collaboration with HR management and line management.


You will build cross-functional collaborations with all departments, working closely with the Ground Operations team, HSE, IT and line management.


The HR Advisor position reports to HR Manager Spain and is located at Málaga Airport.

 You are our ideal candidate if you have:


  • Minimum 3 years of experience in HR in a multinational organization; previous aviation and ground handling experience is an advantage
  • University degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field or relevant experience from similar positions
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office, SAP SF, and comfortable learning new technical systems as needed
  • Good working knowledge of local legislations, labour agreements and working practices
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to identify problems as well as drive appropriate solutions
  • Excellent command of English, written and spoken

 In this role you will be responsible for: 


  • Act as an expert in labour legislation, ensuring correct application regarding the different aspects of the law(s) including but not limited to judiciary claims, restructuring procedures, inspections by labour authorities and employment conditions
  • Manage complex employee relations issues, ensuring procedures are properly followed and mitigation of risk(s) to the organization
  • Supporting the HR manager in different meetings and discussions with Union and Employee Representatives
  • Assist employees in answering any pertinent questions regarding regulations and policies
  • Preparation of legal documents and reports
  • Review and edit contracts and handbooks assuring content accuracy
  • Research, recommend and implement new approaches, policies, and procedures for continual improvements in efficiency of the HR department and the services performed
  • Ensure compliance with country regulations concerning all aspects of employment
  • Take responsibility for the successful and timely completion of HR related projects and prioritization (i.e., equality plan, time registration)
  • Assist with a range of employment relations queries and projects, including dispute resolution, disciplinary and/or dismissal cases, and other instances of conflict between unions, staff and management, coaching Managers with the process
  • Mentoring and support HR colleagues to meet the employee´s expectations and achieve team goals
  • Responsible for the administration and execution of new hire orientations
  • Ensure high service delivery and execution through SAP Success Factors
