Are you our new IT Enterprise Architect?

 

We are looking for a dynamic and higly professional candidate that would love to work with one of Norways most attractive IT solutions in the aviation industry.

Your objectives will be:

  • Support the IT Department with improved architecture, design, security, best practices, standardization and general governance.

 

 

 

 

In this role you will be responsible for: 

  • Aligness of all company strategy and principles
  • Standardization of governance of soft/hardware
  • Govern overall system interactions and exchange of data/information
  • Keep system portfolio and system documentation up to date
  • Analysis of new initiatives
  • Support in software procurement
  • Govern security and compliance with regulations and laws
  • Inspire, train and motivate other functional teams in new and running projects
  • Support in operational excellence
    • DevSecOps
    • Metrics, monitoring and logging
    • Cost control

 

 

 

 

 You are our ideal candidate if:

    • You have a college, university degree, MBA or relevant field (Or min 5 years work experience from a similar job)
    • You have experience with agile development methodologies
    • You have good knowledge of tools for efficient IT development and system architecture
    • You are an expert in cloud architecture and AWS services
    • You have experience in domain and data modelling, UML, C4
    • You have a structured mindset
    • You are able to communicate with different type of stakeholders
    • You have a excellent command of English (written and oral)
    • You’re a team player with a personality inviting to dialogue, discussions and solutions brainstorming with all internal and external partners.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
    • You take initiative and is self-driven and contribute on evolving the organization.
    • You work quickly and efficiently, but also have an eye for detail.

Our Story


The Norwegian story began almost three decades ago - we were founded in 1993 but only began operating as a low-cost carrier with Boeing 737 aircraft in 2002. Our core values have remained the same since the beginning – to offer affordable fares for all and to allow customers to travel the smart way by offering value and choice throughout their journey.

The Norwegian brand expanded across the globe as the airline launched short haul services across Europe and then entered the long-haul sector serving the US, Asia and South America. In 2018 the company changed course to focus on core destinations and the right sizing of the airline in response to customer demand and global industry trends.

The rapid global spread of COVID-19 throughout 2020 and into 2021 accelerated this process and in January 2021 the company announced a simplified business structure and a dedicated short haul only network concentrating on a broad range of domestic routes in Norway, across the Nordics and to key European destinations.
