Are you our new Crew Analyst BCN?


Come join the Crew Scheduling team! The main objectives for the role Crew Analyst will be to improve overall crew utilization, fatigue mitigation and robustness by establishing, improving, and advocating an analysis framework for Crew Scheduling Optimization.

You will be focusing on improving the analytical optimisation, automation, and integration capabilities across the Crew Scheduling Optimisation team – with emphasis on technology and analytical solutions.

You will be driving process improvements, perform ad-hoc analysis for decision- making and act as project coordinator. Support on Netline administration, legality rules and optimizer set up, as well as support the crew supply coordination process.

The role reports directly to Manager Crew Analysis & Performance.



You will be responsible for


  • Advocate and lead Continuous Improvement within the Crew Scheduling Optimisation area.
  • Processing confidential data and information according to guidelines.
  • Reports and analysis development.
  • Generating reports from single or multiple systems.
  • Managing and designing the reporting environment, including data sources, security, and metadata.
  • Supporting the data warehouse in identifying and revising reporting requirements.
  • Helping to manage master data, including creation, updates, and deletion.
  • Managing users and user roles.
  • Supporting initiatives for data integrity and normalization.
  • Provide quality assurance of imported data, working with quality assurance analysts if necessary.
  • Assessing tests and implementing new or upgraded software and assisting with strategic decisions on new systems.
  • Troubleshooting the reporting database environment and reports.
  • Evaluating changes and updates to source production systems.
  • Training end-users on new reports, dashboards and Netline.
  • Crew processes analysis and continuous improvement.
  • Build tools and processes to grant correct supply in coordination with the other involved areas.
  • Maintain legality rules in Netline.
  • Netline roster optimizer constant calibration and test.



You are our ideal candidate if you have


  • Degree or higher in Data Analytics, Informatics, Data or Computer Science, Applied Mathematics or Statistics, Finance, Economics, Business Studies or similar.
  • Ability to work with stakeholders to assess potential risks.
  • Ability to analyse existing tools and databases and provide software solution recommendations.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into non-technical, lay terms.
  • Analytical skills and ability to analyse processes.
  • Capacity for handling large data sets and relational databases.
  • High Excel skills.
  • PBI skills.
  • High-level written and verbal communication skills.

The Norwegian story began almost three decades ago - we were founded in 1993 but only began operating as a low-cost carrier with Boeing 737 aircraft in 2002.
